After the head is glued to the rim and placed in the stretching frame, the whole assembly needs to dry. The head needs to dry. The glue needs to dry too. I usually wait a few days before revoking from the stretching frame. The removal process is an opportunity to check tympanic pressure of the finished head / rim assembly.
